The Gratefully Dead Cocktail
Created to celebrate the El Día de los Muertos, or “The Mexican Day of the Dead”, The Gratefully Dead cocktail is a refreshing and authentic change from an ordinary Margarita and is meant to be celebrated and savored throughout the three day fiesta which spans from October 31st through November 2nd.
Araceli Marigold Liqueur offers a unique bouquet of delicate complex flavors that are rich, floral and fragrant. Smoother than tequila and less smoky than mezcal, Sunora Bacanora Blanco is dry, complex, and peppery with a smoky, earthy finish.
The combination of Araceli Marigold Liqueur and Sunora Bacanora Blanco blend harmoniously to create the perfect tribute to our current lives, and our loved ones passed.
Marigold flowers are the traditional flowers used to honor the dead during festivities and this fantastic cocktail will have you feeling grateful.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Araceli Marigold Liqueur
1.5 oz. Sunora Bacanora Blanco
5 oz. Pineapple Juice
Directions:
Rim glass with lime juice and kosher salt. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into a margarita glass with ice.
Garnish with a lime twist.
